Mindpool.ai is an AI-powered analytics platform exclusively for Aerodrome on Base. Our conversational agent helps you discover pools, analyze gauge voting, track incentives, and optimize your LP positions.

Understanding Aerodrome
Aerodrome is a next-generation AMM on Base that uses vote-escrowed tokenomics to align liquidity providers, traders, and protocols.
Gauges & Emissions
Gauges are voting mechanisms that determine how AERO emissions are distributed across liquidity pools. Each epoch (typically 1 week), veAERO holders vote on which pools should receive emissions. Pools with more votes receive proportionally more AERO rewards for their LPs.
veAERO (Vote-Escrowed AERO)
veAERO is obtained by locking AERO tokens for up to 4 years. The longer you lock, the more veAERO you receive. veAERO holders can vote on gauge weights and earn bribes from protocols that want to incentivize liquidity for their tokens.
Bribes
Protocols can offer bribes (incentives) to veAERO holders who vote for their pool's gauge. This creates a flywheel: protocols pay bribes → voters earn yield → pools get emissions → LPs earn more → more liquidity → better trading experience.
APR Breakdown
LP yields on Aerodrome come from three sources:
- Trading Fees – Earned from swaps in the pool (0.01% to 1% depending on pool type)
- AERO Emissions – Distributed based on gauge votes each epoch
- Bribes – Additional incentives from protocols (if you vote for the gauge)
